Out Of This World

Yesterday my mom, my sister Natalia and I went to the Space Museum. Then we found out that the museum would be closed for another 2 and a half hours because of a Russian New Years party for orphans. Luckily a few days before mom saw a newspaper article saying that right behind the Space Museum there is a exhibit of space related ice sculptures. Here is a list of the 3 most <> ice sculptures:
  1. A balcony-like platform on a hill with a slide
  2. A ladder attached to a round shaped U.F.O sculpture you can climb into with an alien standing next to the U.F.O and ladder
  3. A maze and then at the end of the maze a slide
The exhibit is open until the 1st of March so I will be writing about the different ice sculptures soon.

Enjoy this alien-colored writing!

3 grade Christmas Assembly

At the 2009-2010 Christmas Assembly I was an elf. A elf was the one who did small scenes in-between numbers. The other 3 elves were played by my classmates Erica, Jason and my best friend Gruna ( pronounced GROO-NIA\GROO-NYA ). I performed in the songs Dec The Halls with a solo, Rudolf The Red Nose Reindeer in the microphone, Warm And Fuzzy and James Penguin with small scenes. At the end every kid got a see-through plastic Christmas tree with candy inside, the parents got ginger heart-shaped cookies decorated by the kids and then disco with the music of ROCKIN ROBIN and JINGLE BELL.

Troika Ride

On a 3 horse troika ride at Kolomenskoe. It was 10 minutes long, and 2 circles, but it was so much fun. It was my grandma's ( Tina in CT's ) dream to do this. It was a little hard to get a troika, but totally worth it. After that we had a tour of Kolomenskaya.

We got to go in to the summer cabin of Peter the 1. Did you know he was 2 meters 40 sentimeteres tall ( sorry I only know the metric system. ). The big nail on the pole shows how tall he was.
